ABOUT EVENT

The African Community of Practice (AfCoP) on Managing for Development Results (MDG) organizes annual meetings bringing together all stakeholders, members and partners to assess the results of the past year and discuss plans for The following year. The 2017 Annual Meeting is the eighth of these meetings.
The effort to achieve results continues to transform the African continent, making states more focused and capable. Since the launch of the AfriK4R initiative in 2012, countries and regional economic communities (RECs) have made significant progress in implementing the Common Roadmap.

ABOUT AfriK4R

The AfriK4R initiative aims to help 18 African countries and 2 regional economic communities (COMESA and UEMOA), members of the AfCoP project to integrate MfDR tools in the management of public affairs. More than 5,000 members share their interest in AfDR in Africa. AfCoP members come from 118 countries around the world.
The Comesa-Cop regional results platform was launched to support the Comesa community of results practices, launched in Lusaka in 2013.
The regional UEMOA-Cop results platform was launched to support the UEMOA community of practices on the results launched in 2013 in Ouagadougou.
